Getting Started

Ready to start analyzing? Follow these simple steps to get Neuralyzer running on your system.

1. Download

The latest version of Neuralyzer is available on our GitHub Releases page.

Download Latest Release

Select the appropriate file for your operating system:

  • Windows: Neuralyzer-Windows-x64.zip
  • macOS: Neuralyzer-macOS.dmg
  • Linux: Neuralyzer-Linux.tar.gz

2. Install & Run

  1. Unzip the downloaded Run_WhiskerToolbox_Windows.zip file to your preferred location.
  2. Open the extracted folder and navigate to the bin directory.
  3. Double-click WhiskerToolbox.exe to launch the application.

Note: You may update your desktop shortcut to point to this executable for easier access.

  1. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to mount it.
  2. Drag and drop the Neuralyzer application icon into your Applications folder.
  3. Open your Applications folder and launch Neuralyzer.

Note: On the first launch, you may need to approve the application in your security settings if it’s not notarized.

  1. Extract the downloaded archive: bash tar -xzf Neuralyzer-Linux.tar.gz
  2. Navigate to the binary directory: bash cd Neuralyzer/bin
  3. Run the executable: bash ./WhiskerToolbox
